The Silence of the Holy Week (03/30 - 04/05)
Back when I worked for Philippine entities, I used to look forward to the holy week, and I’m not even Catholic. Long weekends are always something I look forward too, but as a remote, independent worker, holy week is nothing but a label in my calendar , but that didn’t stop life!
Highlights
- The fiancé have finally tried the ramen place he wasn’t able to go to last time he was here.
- We did the grocery together for the first time this year.
- I went to the laundry shop alone for the first time since I’ve been a loyal customer.
- I went to visit my parents and 5 of their dogs. I made friends with one of them.
- I cooked adobo, the family loved it
Lowlights
We were supposed to visit my mom’s hometown, but due to work, my mom had to cancel. We stayed the entire holy week at the apartment.
