What happened in April
This April went by like cats with zoomies. It felt like it just went on for 2 weeks and that's it. I do like the fact that it's my first cold April in my entire life. March, April, and May are hell months in the Philippines. April especially since it's the peak of the summer season. I guess I'm lucky to be away from home for awhile to enjoy autumn.
Here's a list of interesting things from April:
We went to Teatro Colòn.
I wrote about it here.
I worked out 13 times this month.
Not the best number, but I worked on eating more healthily! Less rice for the month because, we'll we forget to buy most of the days. I also found out that saladeras are common here so whenever we go out, I make sure to buy me some.
We watched 1 film.
Since we are actually busy we haven't gotten to play some films. But the only that we watched, which is Conclave is very interesting. We watched it three days before Papa Francisco died.
We started 3 series.
We started watching Upload, Superstore, and From. We were able to finish 2 seasons of From. We're still looking where we can watch the next seasons! My boyfriend wasn't really that invested in Upload so I am scheduled to finish that myself, but at the moment, we're currently binging Superstore. I thought I wouldn't like it, but I actually enjoyed every episode. It's fresh and I do love a workplace sitcoms!
I got my first Easter egg!
We don't do Easter eggs in my country so my boyfriend bought me a chocolate egg for this year. This is my first easter egg ever! It was exciting to crack it even though I know there'll be chocolate with almonds inside. I know I'm way past the candy phase, but I'm sure to buy myself an easter egg next year.
May is going to be a busier month. To be honest, I'm just planning to smile through it. My biggest goal is to finish my crochet project that I've been working on since last year.
Have a great May every one!
